Family classic - there is no other Chinese restaurant as authentic as this in my opinion. I give it the highest 5 stars I can, and pass on this gem of a restaurant to my generations. They have the good food and chill evening atmosphere vibe going on. All their workers are extremely geared towards good customer service.

First Chinese restaurant established in Seattle. My go to place when I'm in the International District. Good luck with parking though.

So glad to visit this special spot! Service was fast and friendly and I love that Bruce Lee and Tony Bourdain came here! The food was delicious- I had the the beef chow fun with Chinese broccoli- delicious flat wide noodles with a good wok sear and tender beef! Yum!!

This is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Seattle and Bruce Lee's favorite (there's even a table there dedicated to his usual spot). Anthony Bourdain has also graced its walls with his presence. Tai Tung has been a family-owned restaurant since the beginning and is an integral part of the community - they're mentioned in the Wing Luke museum nearby, and you'll often find them on the CID summer food walk menu. My hubby wanted to eat here for his birthday, so I snuck a birthday cake early, and the owner was nice enough to agree to store it for me until surprise time. The staff also brought out clean plates and forks for the cake for all our friends (because I'm bad at planning). The fried rice is really tasty and the best dish we had. I also like the kung pao chicken. In general, this is a pretty old school Chinese place. The food is not the best Chinese food I've had, but it's good and satisfying, and the portions are generous for family style eating. 5 stars from me, nevertheless, for the excellent service and the cultural and historical significance of this restaurant.

This place is nothing out of the ordinary. The food is alright but the service is a little rude. The veggie soup was the best part of my meal as well as the sweet and sour sauce. Prices are a bit expensive for lunch too. They did comp our meal because we didn't care for it much. One thing I enjoyed was also trying new things for the $17 combo.
